New
Orleans Square was originally opened at Disneyland on July 24, 1966.
This little section of Disneyland is very quaint and streets run
throughout the area. The land provides the home to Pirates of the
Caribbean, the Haunted Mansion/Haunted Mansion Holiday, and the
Disneyland Railroad.
New Orleans Square is also home to some wonderful
eating locations. They include the Royal Street Veranda, Blue Bayou
Restaurant, Cafe Orleans, the French Market Restaurant, the Mint Julip
Bar, and the (not so) secret Club 33.
If you're looking to do some
shopping, then you can find lots of goodies at the Crystal D'Orleans, Port
Royal, Pieces of Eight, Le Bat en Rouge, Mlle Antoinette's Parfumerie,
and the La Mascarade d'Orleans.
Here are some pictures of New Orleans Square on a recent visit to the Disneyland Resort. I hope you enjoy them!
