In 2005, Disneyland celebrated its 50th Anniversary, and there were commemorative Disney Dollars released in conjunction with this momentous occasion. The $1 bill, surprisingly, did not feature Mickey Mouse. Mickey graced the $50!
The One Dollar Disney Dollar honors went to 2 classic characters. One was Dumbo.
The other was Cinderella.
The Happiest Celebration on Earth.
The back features Sleeping Beauty Castle. Which leads me to wonder why Sleeping Beauty wasn’t the featured Princess.
Speaking of Princesses let’s look at some more Disney Dollars featuring…Princesses.
In 2007, Disney Dollars celebrated 20 years with a $1, $5, and $10 Princess dollars.
The $1 features Ariel, the Little Mermaid.
1987-2007: Twenty Years of Disney Dollars.
The $5 features Aurora, the Sleeping Beauty. There she is!
The backs of all of these Disney Dollars feature a lovely illustration Cinderella Castle with Tinker Bell flying overhead.
Disney Parks: Where dreams come true!
Cinderella makes a return appearance on the $10.
I hope you’ve enjoyed our all Princess addition of Disney Dollars!
