I am behind on my reading.
This weekend I finally got around to the Fall 2013 issue of Disney Twenty Three magazine.
This image on the back cover of Elsa's ice castle looked familiar immediately.
I went to the Art Institute of Philadelphia, directly across the street from One Liberty Place, so saw it daily. I am not sure if this was an inspiration to the creators of Frozen, but feel the top portion of Elsa's castle looks very similar to that of One Liberty Place.
What do you think?
Wow! That's way too similar for it not to have been intentionally.
ReplyDeleteI wonder if it was an accidental copy cat? Someone saw it at some point in time and when it came time to draw an ice castle - this happened!
