Tigger Twins

In 2006 I got a great set of stuffed Tiggers for a Christmas present. They make great Christmas decorations and are so very cheerful. The one on the right has a bell in its hat, so if I happen to lift him up and shake him, he sounds all Christmasy. Very cute to see, one Tigger dressed in a Christmas sweater and the other as an elf. At about 12" tall and in a permanent seated position, they are easy to place about and enjoy some grrrrrreat holiday cheer.

Flea Market Find: Another Plush Figment

A few months ago, I shared another plush Figment I found at the flea market.
I found this Figment at the same persons table a couple of weeks later.


Although it was marked $12, the woman recognized me, and remembered me asking if she had any more Figment. She had brought this just for me!
The really wonderful part of this story, however, is she only asked me for $1 for it!

Why does it have Disneyland on it's tag along with Walt Disney World? Did they sell Figment at Disneyland? Why?

Muppets Most Wanted Merchandise at the Disney Store

Disney's Muppets Most Wanted opens today in theaters, and the Disney Store is carrying some great merchandise to promote it.

There are mugs for $12.95, tee shirts for adults ($19.95) and children ($12.95), iPhone cases at $19.95, a journal for $14.95, and a postcard set.

 The postcard set is $8.95. 

There are several plush Muppets for $19.95.

 This play set is $12.95.

I picked this Stuffed Figment up at the Columbus Flea Market for $1.00! I had one that was much dirtier, and didn't hesitate to buy this the minute I saw it.

Flynn's First Trip to Disneyland : Story Behind the Photo

This photo of Barbie and our Godson Flynn was taken on our Southwest Airlines flight to Los Angeles, where we spent 3 nights at the Disneyland Resort. He's holding the plush Mickey we'd given him on the day he was born, before we even knew we'd have the great honor and pleasure of being his Godparents.
Flynn was 3 and a half at the time, and, while he'd been to a Disney Park before, when he was just 15 months old, this was his first trip to Disneyland, and the first where he was able to really grasp the enormity of, in his own words, meeting Mickey Mouse!
In fact, when I took this photo, I had just asked if he was excited to meet Mickey Mouse, to which he gave an enthusiastic "Yes!'
Well, did he meet the main Mouse?
Of course!
