Flea Markets

We are lucky to live in a small state that has a culture of weekday and weekend fleamarkets, for example:

BELVIDERE - SAT & SUN
BERLIN - THURS THRU SUN
COLUMBUS - THURS THROUGH SUN
DORCHESTER - SAT & SUN
EDISON - TUESDAYS
ENGLISHTOWN - SAT & SUN
FARMINGDALE - FRI, SAT & SUN
GILLETTE - SUNDAYS
LAMBERTVILLE - WED, SAT & SUN
MANAHAWKIN - FRI, SAT & SUN
MEYERSVILLE - SUNDAYS
MONTCLAIR - TUES & FRI
MT ARLINGTON - SUNDAYS
NESHANIC STATION - SUNDAYS
NEW BRUNSWICK - FRI, SAT & SUN
NEW EGYPT - WED & SUN
NEWARK - SAT & SUN
NORTH BERGEN - SUNDAYS
PATTERSON - EVERY ONCE IN A WHILE
PERTH AMBOY - THURSDAYS
PISCATAWAY - SUNDAYS
PLEASANTVILLE - FRI, SAT, SUN & MON
RAHWAY - WED & FRI
TRENTON - SAT & SUN
VINCETOWN - SUNDAYS
VINELAND - FRI, SAT & SUN
WATCHUNG - FRI, SAT & SUN
WOODSTOWN - TUES & SAT
These are to name but a few! I'm sure there are other states out there that love to flea market like we do; but as a state, we are pretty serious about it.

Every weekend we get together with friends and head out to our local markets to search for hidden treasures and bring home fruit and vegetables. Once in a while, we are able to finish a collection we've started! Our friend Jill found the last pin in a series that she needed! The price was right!
If you enjoy looking for vintage Disney finds and love searching for new stuff as well, check your local flea markets, church bazaars and other weekly sales. The chances are good you'll run across a treasure!

  1. Argh, there is only one flea market near me and it is kind of gross and grungy, I always feel like I need a shower after I leave there . . . If I ever do go again I will keep a sharp eye out for Disney items!

Seeing all those $3 Disney pins makes me swoony!

  3. Which one of your local flea markets is your favorite? I've been to both Lambertville and Columbus :)

  4. We prefer Columbus, mostly because it's close, but we also enjoy Lambertville.

    1. Have you been to Englishtowne or Cowtown? If so, how are they? Thanks in advance!

    2. We haven't Courtney. We pretty much just stick with Columbus, but this sounds like a great idea for future posts. Flea Market Road Trips! Thank you!
