Dole
Whip is a soft serve pineapple flavored frozen dessert which can be
found at Captain Cook's at the Polynesian, but we mostly get it at Aloha Isle in Adventureland in the Magic Kingdom.
In Disneyland it can be found outside of Walt Disney's Enchanted Tiki Room at the Tiki Juice Bar.
Dole Whips not only come in pineapple, but they also come in orange, and you can get them swirled with vanilla.
And of course, there is the Pineapple Float, which I always refer to as
a Dole Whip Float. It is pineapple, vanilla, or orange soft serve with
pineapple juice. We always get the classics though, the pineapple Dole
Whip and the Dole Whip Float. In fact, we love it so much, we have even made them at home!

Happy 50th Anniversary Disneyland's Enchanted Tiki Room
Walt Disney's Enchanted Tiki Room, the first audio animatronic attraction, officially opened at Disneyland 50 years ago today.
The Tiki Room was one of the attractions, along with the superior Pirates of the Caribbean and Mr. Toad's Wild Ride, that I was MOST excited to see when we first visited Disneyland February of 2008, due to it's history.
We visited it several times over our 3 day visit, and loved taking a Dole Whip or Dole Whip Float along to enhance the experience.
Happy 50th Tiki Room, and thank you Walt!

Walt with one of our masters of ceremony, Jose.
Jose still squawking today.
Yes, it was THAT cold out!
The Walt Disney World version is edited and is missing the Magic Fountain, but I still highly recommend checking it out.
